Terms of service

The terms of buying from us

The plain-language version of the legal agreement between you and LS Craft Design. For day-to-day questions about crafting times, shipping, returns and cancellations, our store policies page is friendlier and more detailed.

01 · The shop

Who runs this shop

This online store is operated by LS Craft Design, a small handcraft studio owned and run by Liannette Saillant, an architect and maker based in Dallas, Georgia, USA. The shop has been open on Etsy since 2017 and operates this independent website as a complement to that work.

You can reach us at any time through our contact us page, or by replying to any order email you receive. We are a small team, and we read every message.

02 · Made to order

Custom and made-to-order work

Most of what we sell is made specifically for you. When you order a custom house replica, a name sign, or any personalized piece, here is the process:

— We confirm the details with you by email after your order is placed.
— You share the photos we need (typically a clear front view of a house, plus any angles you want captured).
— We design the piece in our software, share a preview with you when you would like one, and only begin cutting and painting after you approve the design.
— Crafting time is typically 3–6 weeks depending on the piece and the order queue. We will tell you the current estimate when you order.

You can ask for changes any time before you approve the design. After approval, the materials and craft hours are committed to your specific piece, and we cannot refund the work that has gone into it. Our cancellation window is on the store policies page.

03 · Pricing & payment

Pricing and payment

All prices on this site are in United States dollars (USD). Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable.

We accept the payment methods offered at checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and PayPal wallet payments are processed by PayPal. We do not see or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVV at any point — that information goes directly to the payment processor.

If a payment fails or is reversed after we have already begun crafting, we will pause the work and reach out to you to sort it out before resuming.

04 · Delivery

Shipping and international orders

The full details of our shipping policy — including tracking, customs duties, and what to do if a parcel is delayed or arrives damaged — live on our store policies page. The short version:

— Every physical order ships with tracking.
— Buyers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes charged by their country.
— Once a parcel is with the carrier, transit times are outside our hands.

05 · Digital goods

Digital downloads and license

When you buy a digital product (an SVG template, a cut file, a PDF) you receive a personal download link by email. The link stays valid for 7 days and allows up to 5 downloads — please save your files somewhere safe after you download them.

Our digital files are licensed for personal and small-business use. That means you can cut, paint, and sell physical items you make from them, in reasonable quantities. You may not resell, share, or redistribute the digital files themselves.

Because digital files can be copied, all digital sales are final once the file has been downloaded. If something is wrong with your file, contact us and we will make it right.

06 · Making it right

Returns, exchanges and cancellations

Our full policy on returns, exchanges and cancellations — including the 14-day window for non-personalized items and the 48-hour damage window — is on the store policies page. The short version:

— Custom and personalized items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
— Non-personalized items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused, in original condition.
— Cancellations are accepted within 2 days of purchase, as long as crafting has not begun.
— If something arrives damaged, send us photos within 48 hours and we will replace or refund it.

07 · Your photos, our designs

Intellectual property and your photos

Our designs are ours. The product designs, the SVG files we sell, the photographs and copy on this site, and our studio name and logo are the intellectual property of LS Craft Design. You may not resell or redistribute the digital files or claim our designs as your own.

Photos you send us for a custom order are used to build your piece. We may occasionally photograph a finished piece and share it on our website or social media — if you would prefer we do not, please let us know when you send the photos, and we will respect that. We will never share your photos before you have seen the finished piece.

08 · Liability

Liability and disclaimers

We do our best to describe every product accurately, to photograph pieces honestly, and to ship them safely. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times, and we are not liable for damages beyond the value of your order — for example, we are not responsible for carrier delays, customs processing, or for losses caused by events outside our control.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement.

09 · The fine print

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. If a dispute cannot be resolved by talking to us, the courts of Paulding County, Georgia, will have jurisdiction, except where a consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

We would much rather hear from you before anything gets to a courtroom. Please contact us first — we will work with you to make it right.

10 · Updates

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we update the effective date below and the previous version is available on request.

For details on how we handle your personal information, see our privacy page.
